This factsheet provides a summary and initial analysis of personal injury road traffic collisions and casualties in Greater London in 2013 compared with 2012 and the average for 2005- 2009.
Key findings include:
• The number of people killed and seriously injured (KSI) on London’s roads is at its lowest level ever.
• The number of KSIs on London’s roads fell 23% during 2013.
• Pedestrian KSIs were significantly down during 2013 with the total number down 25% compared to 2012.
• The total number of casualties in London was down 5% to its lowest level ever.
