The DfT has published a series of related factsheets presenting data on the ‘fatal 4’ factors, which are largely based on data recorded using the new road safety factors (RSFs) recording system, and update previous analyses based on the previous contributory factors data.
Currently the factsheets present data for 2024 and 2025 which has been directly recorded using the RSFs. It is intended that this analysis will be updated annually as further data becomes available.
