Southend-on-Sea City Council

Making Southend safer by reducing the number of collisions on our roads involving death and serious injury is the main drive of the Road Safety Team. We aim to achieve this by the delivery of education, training and publicity to the most vulnerable groups in partnership with local organisations and businesses.

Our work also focuses on reducing levels of traffic by introducing measures to encourage healthier and more sustainable methods of travel within the borough.
