Westminster City Council

Westminster City Council in the heart of London has a population of 220,000 with a daily inflow of over one million. We carry out child pedestrian training, facilitate schools with curriculum resources, train SCPs and work with diverse groups from different religious and ethnic backgrounds.

Our aim is to improve road user skills through teaching and promotional campaigns which will enhance the quality of life by reducing the number of fatal and serious road injuries.

The Road Safety Unit provides advice, resources, information and support for all road users whether resident or visitor to Westminster.

We manage Bikeability, the cycle proficiency scheme for children and adults, support local, regional and national campaigns and advise on sustainable travelling.
