We’ve not run it specifically for taxi drivers, but we do have a course we’ve used with companies who have drivers with points. Essentially it’s a bit like a standard speed awareness course, but geared towards drivers who have either reoffended within the three years and so aren’t eligible, or are higher end speeders who have therefore not been offered a course (who don’t necessarily respond to the same arguments as those within the range for a standard course).
The employers book them on either as individuals for one-to-one discussion/training or occasionally as small groups, and we also look at what pressures the organisation is placing on them/organisational culture which might be contributing to the behaviour.
